Update on OMPF.org back

Has anyone got an update on the old ompf.org?
I've been checking up on it daily, and it's gone from "403 forbidden" to "server not found".
Does this mark the end of the old ompf.org?

I don't think anyone wants to officially declare it the end.  It looks like the server isn't responding at this point at all though.  I suppose that could mean it's moving to a new server, but without any kind of communication I have a feeling it means that it's simply going down.

It's a shame to see it go. Not that there's anything wrong with what Jacco is doing here, but the old ompf contained a wealth of information, and rebuilding that resource is going to be slow.

It is sad that the old site seems to be gone forever.  We're going on nearly 2 months now though... any chance this site could be moved to the ompf.org domain?

It seems the ompf.org domain was recently renewed, if not by tbp then on behalf of him. We can't use it.

Does anyone know the owner personally, to ask for the keys so the original forum may continue? There's so much knowledge there that just letting it go seems such a great pity.

Not sure if you are aware but you can get to an archived version of the old forums (late 2009) from the following link:

not sure how you would get an entire archive dump... perhaps contact them?
