The forum software has been updated to the latest version. This should solve issues with spam and control panels not being accessible. Spam increased to ~100 messages a day, so that's good news.
Related to this, I deleted 700 fake users. This may include 'lurkers', so if this includes you, please re-register and make a dummy post (which will have to be acknowledged by one of the moderators) to prevent future deletion.
