(L) [2007/06/26] [Ho Ho] [Do-it-yourself 3d laser scanning] Wayback!Sounds really interesting. I wonder how difficult would it be to write a program that would do the stiching itself, it could save 50. Perhaps there even already exist other programs that can do it. If anyone knows feel free to report about them.
If I can find good enough laser and webcam cheap enough I might actually build the system. It would be fun to render some random objects instead of the stock ones [SMILEY Smile]

(L) [2007/06/26] [slartybartfast] [Do-it-yourself 3d laser scanning] Wayback! That's really cool. I've been meaning to build my own scanner for a while. They just saved me the trouble !!  [SMILEY Very Happy]
I'm in the middle of a house move, so it's going to be a while before I can try it out - but I've just downloaded all the SW and I already have a camera and laser, so watch this space ...  [SMILEY Wink]
