Mail deluge

I don't know if i'm the only receiving end of this deluge of delayed mails, but i've received like 12 notificitations from this half assed site in a row. I can't say i have much use for them, but i suppose it's nice to know they didn't hit /dev/null finally. Kinda.

So, move along, there's nothing to see.

I didn't experience coz I don't check the "notify me" checker, but lyc told me he gets notifs with a huge amount of latency, too.

I also got some mails several hours to several days after the posts.

I don't think it's the edits because a message should be sent at the time of posting and if you don't log int after it you won't get more notices about that thread.

I've only seen such (massive) delay recently, say a couple of days. In the same period i've also spotted some internal errors on the web server, so i guess someone was tinkering with it.
