His posts are too good to be contextual spam (== on topic posts, but which are not really meaningful). Now, [LINK http://bit.ly/dni3yP] , I have nothing against cross posting on different sites per se.
It is very dubious that he pumped so many posts in such a short timespam. So lets look closer:
[LINK http://bit.ly/bphuXE] [LINK http://bit.ly/dni3yP]... he has posted under different nicknames on forum.rpg.net/ .
Further: His gd.net-sig-page says: http___www_rosettastonediscount4u_com, which is orthogonal to the topic of game-dev or graphics-coding or rpg-gaming (I've put in some underscores).
Furthermore: [LINK http://www.gamedev.net/community/forums/topic.asp?topic_id=583687] is an example of a post where there was spamlinks. Moderator EvilSteve removed them, though.
If you re-interpret that find out, that gamedev.net-user seems to have recycled strangers posts just to salt them with spam urls.
(and pardon for the bit.ly linkage, but the google searches are massive)

(L) [2010/10/15] [phresnel] [Contextual spam too good to be spam?] Wayback!Oh it was not my discovery. Fastcall of gamedev.net found out about the spam. I was just snoopy and stalked the spammer in question a bit, asking myself why he is declared a spammer, and than found that he posts under different nicks on that rpg-forum [SMILEY :D]
