Image rendered using bidirectional path tracing.  I'm not sure the image is completely correct, the high curvature bits look a bit dark to me and could well indicate I have a BSDF or shading normals bug!

Solid glass, using a fresnel dielectric BSDF.  IOR is around 1.5, the glass medium has (RGB) absorption but no scattering.
(L) [2012/08/15] [igneus] [Topmod!] Wayback!I love Topmod. Coincidentally, there were some awesome 3D prints of Topmod models at SIGGRAPH this year. They're beautiful objects to actually hold. I think this one uses a plaster-like substrate.
