I'm particularly impressed at how the authors have unified BDPT, MLT and ERPT into a single abstract framework from which they draw comparisons to their own approach. It includes extending ERPT to handle all light transport which until now has been implicit, but never actually defined or tested. This is how you do thorough research, IMHO. Bravo.
